cbec have been involved with a fantastic community project for the Cong Burn near Durham along with the Wear Rivers Trust. We created four posters with potential before and after shots to help locals really visualise the planned changes to the burn which is currently concrete and straightened. cbec eco-engineering UK Ltd has been part of this project right from the start. Our team have conducted topographic surveys, geomorphic assessments and hydrodynamic modelling. All this led to our detailed designs for the remeandering that can be seen from the drone footage in this short video. We are pretty proud of this work and to be part of the project.
