Bertie has an MSc in Land and Hydrographic Surveying from the University of Glasgow and previously has worked with Malcolm Hughes conducting a range of topographic surveys including river surveys. As a consultant modeller and surveyor at CBEC Bertie will be carrying out hydraulic modelling using HEC-RAS software as well as conducting field work.
Bertie’s undergraduate studies were in Sustainable Development and Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh, she has spent time travelling in Hawai’i, Trinidad and Mexico volunteering with various rural projects around sustainability issues.
