Alison Wilson BSc

Principal Consultant – Project Management & North Team Lead

Alison has a BSc with Honours in Geography from the University of Aberdeen. Through her degree, she gained a fundamental understanding of important management and conservation issues relating to the physical environment, with a particular focus on Scottish landscapes and riverine environments. Her dissertation, investigating the influence of substrate on macroinvertebrates on the River Feugh in Aberdeenshire, was awarded Best in Department. 

Alison has project managed a number of restoration projects on a range of river systems across Scotland, England and Wales. She has assisted with many topographic surveys and routinely leads geomorphological audits. Her field and project management skills were fundamental in the Scottish Environment Protection Agency’s morphological survey programme (2015–2017). Alison also has extensive experience of data analysis, presentation and reporting.
