Gordon Falconer has more than ten years’ professional experience in the water resources industry. Gordon started with cbec in 2013 as a Junior hydrologist and hydraulic modeller after completing his MSc in Sustainable catchment management at The University of Dundee. Since starting, Gordon has worked in a variety of technical roles, establishing a firm knowledge of the technical processes required in the sector, from field-based work such as Geomorphology and topographic surveys, to desk based assessments using GIS and CAD. Gordon leads the topographic survey, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Hydrology and flood risk teams at cbec as well as undertaking project management and technical operation duties. Gordon’s experience working with landowners, members of the public, public bodies, consultancies, and contractors has allowed him to understand different expectations across the industry, allowing him to adapt to individual requirements.
