Senior Project Manager

Ryan has more than 5 years’ experience working across multiple areas environmental management in New Zealand. During his master’s degree which focused on coastal geomorphology and natural hazards, Ryan began working as a research assistant working on soft engineering management techniques and monitoring of coastal dune systems in Southern New Zealand, before joining the local council to work on long term coastal planning.

Ryan then moved to the North of New Zealand working as an environmental advisor for the contractor building the Central Interceptor, New Zealand’s largest wastewater project with over 20 km of tunnelling. Joining the consulting industry in 2021, Ryan has worked on and project managed several stream and wetland remediation projects, native species relocations, native fish habitat enhancements and barrier removal, ecological impact assessments and resource consent documentation, construction management, coastal enhancements as well as coordinating environmental components of flood recovery works.
